Just read your article on Exploring the Charms of Jesus Pobre and I must tell you, you write very well, to the point that I do believe that Jesus Pobre will be enchanting. i have dear friends who will be moving there in November for about 8 months, I plan to join them for 2 months, from mid April to mid June and will be looking for a small apartment, not to expensive during that time. Though my friends will have a car, I would like to be more or less independent during that time and therefore would need to be close to grocery/pharmacy shops. Can you recommend anything. 2 bedrooms, if possible with a swimming pool!!!! Thank you Amalia.

Regarding your question about housing, I do not know of anything at this time that meets your criteria but I can share some general insight.
I recommend searching and subscribing to notifications from Idealista, which is a great source here in Spain for rentals. https://www.idealista.com/en/alquiler-viviendas/denia/la-xara-la-sella-jesus-pobre/
Since you want to be independent for getting around, I would recommend renting a car if you’re going to be in Jesus Pobre. There is no bus or train there. I believe there is one grocery store and a couple of pharmacies. The town is not really a full town if that makes sense.
If you want to be better connected to public transportation I recommend considering La Xara which is in between Denia and Jesus Pobre, or Denia itself. Both have bus and train, and of course Denia is a more proper town with full amenities. Both are also still quite close to Jesus Pobre if you have a car.
The months you are looking at for April to mid-June will be short vacation rental pricing and keep in mind that June is the start of the summer months which are high season here. Along those lines, housing around here tends to be easier to find as short vacation rentals (1 – 3 weeks, maybe 1 month), while long-term/year-round (12-month leases) and winter rentals (6 months during winter, usually later September/October through May) can be a little more challenging.
At the same time, it could be that Jesus Pobre has some opportunities because people tend to want to be in nearby Denia more.
